Two new postdoctoral researchers join the AM2V: Matthieu Sebbah and Laurent Bakri

Matthieu Sebbah, who did his PhD at the University of Montpellier 2, is working with two AM2V researchers, Pedro Gajardo y Juan Peypouquet  in the modeling, optimization and control of bioprocesses. Pedro Gajardo and Juan Peypouquet participate of the BioNature, a CIRIC INRIA-CHILE's group, that provides the financial support for Mattheiu's position.  BioNature ( is a multidisciplinary research group comprising researchers of our university and three other national universities that belongs to one of the five strategic areas of the CIRIC project.

Laurent Bakri, has joined us from the Laboratoire de Mathèmatiques et Physique de Tours and  specializes on Partial Differential Equations (PDE).  He did his Ph.D. at the Université Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France, and his thesis concerned the nodal sets of solutions to Elliptic PDE, using a method based on Carleman inequalities. He will collaborate with AM2V researchers from the areas of Nonlinear Analysis of PDE and Control of PDE and Inverse Problems.

Finally, we want to announce that the AM2V will continue growing! Two additional postdoctoral researchers will join us for the spring semester 2013 in the framework the Anillo project ACPA obtained by a group of AM2V researchers in the 2012 call.
